This August, Maeve Wine Bar is bringing together three very good things, duck, snacks and pinot.
Duck • Snack • Pinot is a month long tasting experience featuring three duck snacks, each paired with a matching 100ml glass of Pinot Noir.
The complete experience is $70 per person.
Begin with duck parfait on toast with Davidson plum, paired with Michael Hall Sang de Pigeon x Maeve Wine Pinot Noir from the Adelaide Hills. Next, pizza fritta with duck ham meets Craggy Range Pinot Noir from Marlborough, New Zealand. To finish, crumbed duck terrine with maple mustard is served alongside Trapeze Pinot Noir from the Yarra Valley.
Designed for curious drinkers and serious snack lovers, the whole experience is relaxed, playful and unmistakably Maeve. Each pairing has been thoughtfully created to complement, contrast and enhance the flavours on the plate and in the glass, without turning the evening into a formal wine lesson.
Available throughout August at Maeve Wine Bar in Brisbane’s Fish Lane.
